You cant take you preconceptions with you to a movie, it will ruin it for you. That said i thought this was a great movie and would love to see a sequel. Having see the Anime I obviously had some expectations but thought to leave them at home, this is not the Anime, and in a 2 hour movie some things will get lost or omitted. Other will be added and changed to make the story flow, again in less than two hours.

Have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I liked that they had an ending, while leaving the abvouse door open for a new series. I hate watching any series that has no ending, it always leaves you as if you wasted your time.

Was it great? No, will you be amazed, probably not. Was it entertaining? I enjoyed it. Morbius is not a well known character and most people never even heard of him, much less know Marvel characters. Just a popcorn movie.

Fun to watch, good action. Chill, and enjoy, dont think too much about it.

Watch once a year at least. As close I think to what it must have been for those men. Like Das Boot, its not the story itself alone, its the experience of those men.
