I had low expectations of this Meg Ryan film, and my hunch was correct.. Maybe because We’ve seen airport stories before (much better than this one). I tried to escape the boredom of the film by a forced nap. The acoustics were poor, so I got part of the NEVER-ENDING, tedious dialog, in the most incredibly uninteresting environment you could ever, ever imagine…. A monochrome airport. Ugh. I kept hoping til the bitter end that the story would go somewhere, like into bed, or anything, but it didn’t. One elderly couple actually walked out, & I was envious, I was w/ my mom, and being hard of hearing she probably didn’t have a clue what all the talk was about. There’s so much you could do, stuck together in a place w/ many kitchens & bathroom, and empty planes, ALL illegal of course that would have been more interesting than talk therapy for almost two hours. Like leave the airport, go on an adventure, pretend you’re thrill seekers. Instead it was Bla bla bla. No one looked happy leaving this film.
