Awesome. Extraordinary. Fabulous. Never expected this kind of sequel. The best. Only minus could have trimmed some portions from first half atleast by 15 mins.

Good first half - Family drama, comedy in few scenes, sentiments, songs, and dance. Somewhat engaging. Worst second - Utter waste. Not convincing scenes, only fight and bad heroism. More emotions. Siva wasted Rajini Sir time and everyone else time here by mixing his past movie scenes and making it more illogical. The highlight of the movie is Rajini Sir, high energy, good performance. Hats off to him to carry a performance like this at this age with great screen presence !! Summary: Better just watch first Half and leave

An outstanding Joy ride with Thalaivar in Petta theme park. Quick snip on screenplay - 1st half - Damn good with lots of fun and fan elements packaged. We enjoyed each and every frame of Thalaivar. What a man and what a moments 1st half scenes are. 2nd half - Flashback is amazing with different look of Thalaivar. After flashback a journey on taking down villain is what could have been better. Its not boring however not very engaging like 1st half. It would have been better with scenes on what he was doing when absconded from Villain for long time and connection with scenes on his way to take down Villain. Sorry I am not teaching screenplay to Karthik sir just sharing as a fan's expectation. Climax - Very different and very much enjoyed when Thalaivar danced for his old song. Overall it was like a theme park rides enjoyed thalaivar scenes all his punch lines, acting, styles and stunts. Thank you Thalaiva ( I meant Karthi subburaj this time) for making us proud to be a Thalaivar (This time I meant Rajini Sir) fan again in 2019 and enjoyed this mass film to the core with love and happiness. In thalaivar style, hats off to entire crew for giving a mass blockbuster film !!!

Mind blowing. Awesome. The Best thriller movie in this decade. I am proud it born in Tamil. Directors like this, Actors like this, Technician like this is their life time movie and Audience like me had their life time thriller movie. Go and watch to have thriller dream fulfilled in 2.5 hours gripping screen play and performance. Hats off to the team in Thalaivar style !!!!
