Kaalkoot is a slow moving social drama disguised as a mystery. Vijay Varma plays a suppandi- like policeman with similar other buffoon police.
The focus is never on solving the case but on multiple other social issues - female infanticide, acid throwing on women, rape, mms , epilepsy etc.
Thrown in are the eccentricities of the main character , his father complex, his inability to express emotions, blow hot blow cold relationship with his fiancee.
It is tiring and too complex. Obviously the police keep failing and Varma keeps getting beaten up. ( No training on self defense given to police?)
Ultimately in the end, he suddenly becomes a superman ☹️ and drives a motorbike with an iron rod stuck in his chest and coming out of his back. So realistic 😁
A waste of time. Please avoid!!
