I've known the author, David Crow for about 30 years. Never did I know of this horrendous and tortuous childhood that he faced along with his siblings from his father. The Pale-Faced Lie keeps your attention throughout as the reader suffers along with David and his family. I could not put this true story-thriller down. David's integrity and kindness as a person is beyond reproach. For him to share his childhood years with his killer-father is a remarkable task.
