This film has several good.actors in it....however it starts slow.... continues slow...and ends flat without ever being very interesting. I love Julia Roberts but this is a film she should have passed on. Save about 2 hours of your life...watch something else.

I began watching this movie because my wife wanted to see it. The story drew me in....but at first I thought I was watching a new version of "It's a wonderful life". The story was great and the acting was fabulous. It kept me laughing and entertained.

Killer Joe was mildly entertaining but to me it portraits Matthew McConaughey as a pervert taking advantage of a mentally weak young girl. It seemed the director used nudity to make up for a poor story line to keep the audience engaged. The ending was terrible to say the least. You are slightly curious how on earth this all played out and then your left wonder at the end what happened next.

Dune is a classic with a story line carried out in 2 other versions. The 2021 redo is a hollow mess. We never saw the spacing guild and the navigators that fly their ships by folding space. We never met the emperor or his daughter. The story behind his plot is not fully told. The entire story of how the saviour was fore told is never told. I had to tell the people that were watching the show with me what the story line was as they new Dune tells us nothing. I would give high marks to the actors but negative 10 to the screen writer and director as they fell flat on telling this story. You should be ashamed of yourself...did you even see the first 2 movies or read the book?
