This is a visually stunning movie with a soundtrack to match but...if only they'd put more effort into the writing. Over long by about an hour this is a s-l-o-w moving beast that only gets going in the last 30 minutes. The sad part is there's huge segments that could be removed with little effect on the overall film - a re-edit would definitely help. A case in part is the Keaua Reeves and the mountain lion piece...almost pointless bar to add his name for extra appeal. It's a missed opportunity though as the premise of the film is a good one...if only they'd writers had brought it one. Sorry but this just isn't worth the time.
