What a movie! Think of it and the role of dashing Vinod Khanna comes to mind. His mannerisms to some extent reminds of Sunil Dutt in Muje Jine Do. Story revolves around Dacoit vs Gaonwalo simple villagers. It is one of Raj Khosla's hit movie. Dharam ji and Asha Parekh are lead pair and do full justice to the role. Music by Laxmikant Pyarelal is popularly. Song filmed on Lakshmi Chhaya is especially highlight of movie. Shooting was done in Udaipur surroundings, lovely outdoors. If you are interested in wholesome entertainment this is the movie. Sholay was largely inspired by this movie.

This 1965 film based on a Novel by R. K. Narayan is directed by Vijay Anand aka Goldie younger sibling of Dev saab. I have seen the film many times and each time it is engrossing. I must admit that Film is far better than the novel. The highlight of the film is it has soul, one can't stop crying. The direction is very very crisp. The music by Burman dada and lyrics by one and only Shailendra touches your heart straight away. Songs carry forward the story to a higher level. It will be unfair to rate a song but my favorites are tere mere sapne ek rang hai and Din dhal jaaye and gasta rahe mm rra dil. Use of saxapjone in gata rahe is ultimate, I suppose it is played by Manohari singh. Characterization is perfect may it be lead actors Dev saab and waheedaji. Leela chitnis ulhaas Anwar Hussain have done justice to their role. Best movie of Dev saab. Must see Indian movie.

Very predictable story. Minimum characters. I watched on Prime movies. Dippy and Sargun acting passable. Above average movie. Though based in Delhi I never get to see Punjabi movies in theatres. So I feel not much qualified to comment on taste of Punjabies on second thought much better than many Hindi movies. It is family movie nothing vulgar. Decently written dialogues. Can be seen at least a couple of times.

Waqt... aur Kudrat ke aage Kutch bhi nahi. One of the top movies made till date under BRChopra banner. A perfect movie, it has all the essentials good story a great star cast. Music is soul of movie, lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi and Music of Ravi is evergreen. It is a lost and found story of entire family. No film has ever bettered the treatment. Acting of Balraj Sahni Raaj Kumar and Rehman are noteworthy. Sunil Dutt sahib in court scene is impressive. On the whole a movie with no minus only plusses. A wholesome family movie, if you like Hindi movies it should be on top of your list. It scores ten on ten.

This movie made Rajesh Khanna a super star. It was one of the movies of Shakti Samanta which will be remembered for so many things, apart from good story line tight editing and stunning performances by Sharmila ji and Kaka yess our Rajesh Khanna. Music was the icing on cake. You cannot say which song is weak. Roop Tera mastana won the best song award. It was arrival of great Kishore with a bang. Must see movie.
