The game seems a bit tedious, the story is lackluster, the combat is simple and oddly difficult, I'm not sure how they expected a young child to beat the game, it just lacks in every front when it comes to a pokemon-esk game. Overall it's fun in doses, but after a certain point you get so tired of mountains of dialog and the same thing over and over that you just end up trying to speed through the game.

Honestly I felt like the movie was too long, the scares were alright but far between each other, it's more of a comedy than a horror, for every scare there has been 30 minutes of jokes between so it removes the fear aspect, overall it was alright but I expected a lot more and it leaves more to be desired. If you're looking for a scary movie keeping you on the edge of your seat, It chapter 2 is not that, if you're looking for a comedy routine with occasional scare, you're in luck.
