Naptime. I have a tendency to fall asleep when a movie gets too dark, too complicated, too techy, too full of brutality and explosions. Maybe it's all the snow, concrete, and black leather.

I really wanted to like it. The topic is very important. The actors Taye Diggs and George Lopez, are two of my favorites. But issues of race and justice are handled in a slanted ham-fisted way, that makes these very real situations seem like a Sunday cartoon. Real villains are smarter than these guys.Real heroes seldom just find the definitive evidence. And there is a wide spectrum of good and bad people in real stories. The actors and the issues deserved much better nuanced material .
