I feel inclined to write about this movie. So many people seem to have missed the message. I’m convinced people that didn’t like this movie have trouble connecting to reality. It was so well thought out and relevant to modern day society. The “corny” acting was a satire of the corny actors that rule our world (politicians, CEOs, media) and their disconnect from the people they’re “serving”. Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio represented the viewer and their roles were played more authentically. If you’re looking for a feel-good movie, this is not it, and you should watch it anyways. That’s the whole point of the movie. This is the kind of cinema that makes real change in the world. It may slap you in the face but I needed to be slapped. I’m begging you to experience it
