3d Action/adventure buffs will have seen it all before but maybe not as beautifully presented.
Kena is a very pretty game, whether playing on PS4, PS5 or PC, you are guaranteed a visual feast, the gameplay mechanics, however, are fairly humdrum. This is not a complaint so much as a regret that the gameplay, which is solid and entertaining, does not quite match the lofty heights of the visual presentation.
Note that there are no graphics options on PS4. The PS5 version does offer the option of either 30fps at locked 4K or locked 60fps with the resolution scaling up to 4K.
Still, it is well worth the price of entry so far (I am three hours into the story mode) and I do not regret the purchase on PS4, with the free PS5 upgrade included. If you have a decent enough gaming rig, then maybe the PC might be a better option for you.
Very promising first entry from a studio that is going to wow us with future releases I'm sure.
