It is exactly what a Godzilla movie should be. Humans take a back seat to the monsters most of the movie but they help just enough to help Godzilla and Kong win. Sure there is some questionable science but then again we have a giant lizard and ape destroying Hong Kong so as Elsa says, let it go. Also as a bonus we are able to see all the monster action clearly.
