I personally like unidirectional time projected stories, jumping from past to future to present is just that I am not very fond of. I found this here, although all other things were great, like learning about Afghanistan. Emotionally dreading the story is.

I found the language used by John fascinating, it was so easy to understand with little new words for me. About the story, it's a bit of suspense with comedy. Till climax it was top notch, the curve of satisfaction then drives down with a steep slope just after. Some days of the story felt like fillers to me, otherwise, good.
