Quite literally a comedy if you have the "correct" mindset. The lighting, tone, most dialogue, theatrical symbolism, angles, and even color pallet make this movie visually stunning. The only dialogue I found lacking was with the female love interest, but it was more due to the performance than script. Though, to be fair of the actor, perhaps this movie's set-up and general scenes aren't suited for her.
I think the main actor was the Atlas of the movie overall, carrying the weight of the plot and story on his shoulders. If you put an ill-suited actor for this, it's somewhat feasible to say it would crumble. But, don't use this to discredit the story and tone. No, this story and tone is niche enough to require a niche actor to lead it.
All around, this movie is stunning. See it.
