Sheeple Hunter

Venom is a movie that had so much potential, unfortunately it suffers from the dreadful "Hollywood" basic structure. This movie could have gave us a better perspective on the life of a villain. Sadly, the writers went down the safer road and made the well known villain into a hero. Yeah, let that sink in for a moment. If Sony wanted another hero movie why not make another Spiderman film? What's the point of making Venom the protagonist if he's just going to save the day? We have Spiderman for that. I personally would have preferred to see Venom go on a rampage across the city eating anyone in sight including Anne. It would have made much more sense that way. He is a villain after all, not a hero.

The game is decent. Definitely not as good as MKX. The roster is pretty dull with only 3 characters that I actually like. The game runs good on the PC, on the switch however, is a different story. The game is always dropping frames and crashing during boss fights on the switch. Fatal blows are extremely annoying and ruin the game. I get it, they're supposed to be a novelty but after a while they just get old. Overall, would I recommend this game to anyone? No. I'd recommend sticking to MKX.

Another bad reboot that thinks using a household name will automatically result in a great movie. The movie feels like a bad spinoff, not much of the story is really canon to the video games or lore. Sub Zero is the villian and scorpion is the hero which makes absolutely no sense. Cole Young isn't even a real Mortal Kombat character and I hope that they don't add him in future Mortal Kombat games. Veteran Mortal Kombat fans will despise this film. Also, the fatality and flawless victory qoutes were extremely cringy. This movie is obviously intended for casual viewers who are familiar with the Mortal Kombat name, but don't know much about the lore. As I mentioned before real die hard Mortal Kombat fans will hate this film. Overall it's a pretty forgettable bad action film with cliches around every corner. Don't rush to see this film, you're not missing out on much.
