I fully expected another ho-hum Hallmark Christmas Romance. Boy, did I get a delightful surprise. If the predictable girl meets boy and they end up together is your cup of tea, then head over to The Hallmark channel. This story has more grit than most Christmas movies. It has the usual fantasy aspect but in an unexpected story. I think it will be an annual classic along with such films as The Family Stone.
