I think, like alot of other people that don cherry should NOT be fired for his comments. He has alway been brutely honest in his whole career, even though some people might take offense but this was a county of freedom to say what you think, but this is just another thing that canadians have lost. the nhl is no longer a sport that commom people can afford to go and watch. the owners/organization has put a very high price on a canadian sport. I for one was an original season ticket holder but had to stop many years ago because of price of tickets. But now I will also no longer watch saturday night hockey games because I still feel that i have a choice which cannot be taken from me. sorry to see don cherry removed and he should be put back onto the air with a full apology from everyone especially don maclean - shame on you
