The best version of this character, ever; no being a crook who's being chased across the world by the Acme Detective Agency for her this time! Instead, she's the one who's the heroine of the show, and is the one stopping the Villain's International League of Evil (V.I.L.E.) from robbing people (she'd once been adapted by somebody at V.I.L.E., given an education, and then brought into the V.I.L.E. Academy to become an agent of V.I.L.E., but when she finds out what V.I.L.E. really is [that is, she develops a conscience], she turns against them.)
The show is amazing, has great animation and great characterization, and shows that American animation can be truly 'adult' without having to resort to (and I hate to use this word, but I don't have anything else to use) vulgar stuff to make it palatable for adult audiences. Plus, it has the elements from the previous Saturday morning cartoon adaptation; Player (who helps Carmen do her stuff) and Zach & Ivy, who are her in-the-field sidekicks.
Everybody (adults and kids) will love this show.
