Honestly, the dumbest big budget movie I ever recall watching. The plot had so many holes every dinosaur shown on screen could have easily walked thru them. It was as if the director had bets going with the producer to get in every cliché and throwback shot possible. The action sequences and special effects were actually quite good. Some direct criticism: I would bet that even the youngest viewers in the audience would know that grasshoppers cannot fly while on fire… Dinosaurs would not survive in the snow let alone under a frozen lake.

Fun show, yes it is not true to the books but still worth watching. Great to see such a wonderful world get a shot at a series.

Morality play with no rational plot. If a abused 15 year old girl with schizophrenia wrote and directed this I would not be surprised.
