The game is made to test every ability of the player. Patience, persistence and resilience are all needed to play the game. You will die, to a bugged zombie or a player who out stacks you or maybe the million cut glitch. these are all factors that make people hate the game and I can understand why. This game is made as an experiment, to see what humans do if given a ton of different options and tools. You can patiently camp the door of a military base, hoping to score someone who's not expecting to you be there, or you can use the terrain to every advantage it can give you and play very aggressively and take on anyone who's in your path, all the while rotating around and never being in one place. You can hope everyone's as nice as you, and only wishes to keep pushing forward, but that's looking at the game in rose glasses. All you need to know about the game is it's hard to play and harder to master, but the gameplay is some of the most rewarding I've ever seen.
