Island Girl

To me the male and female main leads had the typical kdrama romance. It was the story lines portrayed by the supporting cast that made this kdrama interesting. The relationship stories of the supporting cast is what added substance. The actress who portrayed the niece is really good at making you feel the hurt that she was faced with. A husband of eight years doubting his sexuality, a wealthy granddaughter having to find herself, a betrayed mother in denial, a playboy chairman breaks down in tears as he finds true love, a man who was treated more like a slave than a human being, these are some of the takeaways that actually kept my interest while finishing the 16 episodes.

I absolutely loved & enjoyed this kdrama. The cast was perfect for their characters. Each episode was funny, filled with human grit & heartwarming.

Loving this series. Perfect actors for the male lead & the female lead. It addresses real life issues such as anxiety & anger management. Hilarious situations.....so enjoyable & refreshing.
