Amel Houna

These were stories I could relate to. I was saddened at times by the behaviour of some of characters, like Majed's story, I held them real and could imagine that they existed . This shows, if anything, how amazing her story-telling is . My favourite was always "Coloured lights", though I came to really admire "the Ostrich". Leila was unapologetic in her description and writings regarding her culture, I loved that. it truly did inspire me to do the same. thanks Leila! pages of fruit was something else!
