Vastly underrated film. Don’t know how I missed it before. Certainly a hidden gem. Story of a young, diffident auto driver who after his wedding, faces unique challenges related to privacy, individuality and family relationships in a Mumbai chawl. Brilliantly enacted by lead actors Saharsh Shukla and Taneea Rajawat, the film crafts a very believable story of a young man’s struggle with basic issues brought about by realities of space crunch in the city and such. All the lead actors are super talented yet understated. Screenplay is tight and really engaging. Don’t know what the director Sidharth Jatla has done before but here he’s in fine form. Would heartily recommend this movie to everyone.

Defending Jacob, an 8-part series on Apple TV+, is quite an Interesting watch. Based on a book by William Landay, it’s a crime drama centred on a young couple and their teenaged son. The story moves along at quite an easy pace but keeps you engrossed all through. However it’s in the last two episodes when the legal drama picks up pace that the story reveals a few twists in the tale. Tight direction and great performances by the entire lead cast help too. Recommended. Particularly to those who are fond of watching crime and family dramas.

This is us feels REAL. That's the best part about it. Fine writing. Very well enacted - by ALL the lead actors. Sensitive portrayal of family affairs. Too good. Right from the first scene, to the end of the 3rd Season. Have watched all. It's one exceptional show. If you like your TV shows to be real yet dramatic, you'd love it.

Delhi Crime needs to be applauded for its authentic, moving and very sensitive portrayal of the investigation carried out by Delhi Police in the wake of the Nirbhaya incident. What's different about the Netflix web series is that it gives you a point of view of the Police which has rarely if ever been talked of in the context of this horrible rape cum murder of an innocent girl in Delhi. The script is factual though fictionalized version of the sad incident. Acting - led by Shefali Shah, Adil Hussain, Rasika Duggal, Rajesh Telang - is real, intense and very understated. Even the smaller roles played by all the accused as well as rest of the police team are so effective that you are left feeling completely disgusted by the crime committed by them at first, as also left applauding the smart detective work done in a short span of 6 days by the police crack team. Little touches of brilliance - like the fact that a police constable is not able to buy medicines for his wife or that the power supply to police station is disconnected due to non-payment of dues - go on to draw the viewer in completely and make the experience of watching the series absolutely incredible. Richie Mehta, the maker, thoroughly deserves a 5 star rating. Great piece of docu-drama
