Hello,
I am a professional at book writing and will give you my opinion on this book. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a very good book but there are many things that I will critique. The book is about a horrendous event that occurred in WWII and we are getting the book through the eyes of a 9-year-old named Bruno, Bruno is a very curious boy who loves exploring and loves where he lives in Berlin. But he had to move due to his father who was a very important man to Adolf Hitler. Bruno moves there and it is a very harsh environment for Bruno and his sister. Bruno starts to explore every day to meet his friend named Shmuel who was in the concentration camps. But one day, Bruno accidentally took the wrong turn. The amazing things about this book are that the author was very smart to tell the story through the eyes of a 9-year-old. Another amazing thing is that there were a lot of interesting things. The dislikes were that the interesting things were too far into the end and once you were in the middle of the book, you would get tired of reading it. Another boring thing is that there is not too much with WWII. Even though his father had an important job to Adolf Hitler, there was barely any information about what was WWII and when it happened. Another dislike is that it shows incorrect information. This is because there was Bruno who was 9 years old and Shmuel his friend. This is because every day, Bruno would see Shmuel without his father or his whole family knows. This is very incorrect information because the father would've known about this but didn't which is false information. Thank you for listening to my review on The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
