This is one of my favourite books and I was a bit concerned that the series might not truly follow it. However, I thought it was marvellous. In particular the on screen chemistry between Michael Sheen and David Tennant was an absolute joy. The only downer, casting an American as Anathema Device, presumably a sop to the transatlantic market.
