This is a brilliant picture book that tells the stories of individuals involved in the Gallipoli Campaign. Great illustrations and poignant words from the individuals featured. Many of the races involved in the battles are depicted, including Turks. I particularly like that this book features an Aboriginal soldier, a Chinese-Australian, a nurse, an Indian, a Nepalese besides Australian and New Zealanders. A great educational book for young people.
