Was it cheesy? Yes. Is anyone in it going to get an Oscar nod? No. But its a Christmas musical based on songs by Dolly Parton! Who was expecting Shakespeare? Just enjoy it as a heartwarming tale with good songs and of course, Dolly(!!) and its 5 stars.
