This imaginative film is carried by its outstanding visuals, good energetic acting by George MacKay and the rest of the cast (with a special call-out for Orlando Schwerdt, the young man who plays Ned Kelly as a boy so well), and a wild mix of punk atmosphere and Aussie outback. Two mesmerizing hours of story told sympathetically from Ned Kelly's own perspective.

A cliche-ridden primetime soap opera that has little to do with law and everything to do with gazing at impossibly good-looking students at a thinly-veiled University of Pennsylvania. Not a drop of originality or reality.
