I really loved this adaption. It was very well thought out and definitely very different from the original we all know and love. Yes, there are no musical numbers, but it still brings that nostalgia with something new. Something to be in awe off. Liu Yifei does an excellent job portraying and bringing to life Hua Mulan. Its a great watch. While it may not be for everyone's cup of tea, its still a very well made movie.
