Realistic Emontionally compelling I was mesmerizide by postive protrayal of love of family in a crisis situation.And the truth about prejudice ,inferiority complex in retrpspect to Afro Americans that are proud of there awesome heritage.The strenght of the Afro American woman ,the protective nuturing nature of the Afro American man that has pride in self and family values it made me remember whats its like to truly love and what extent the Afro American people we perserver in order to mantain dignity and structure in a world that seems to be losing there humanity and dignity .If Beale Street can talk indeed James Balwin story is notable as a educational tool for those that has lost a sense of what love is all about .l loved this movie was a little disappointed with the ending yet the reality of it makes it a realistic truth not a fairy tale .
