I'm on the fence on this one. I felt that there wasnt much character development. The main characters continously made quick, almost predictable decisions which was disheartening. Yes, it was very similar to the original but I can get over that. They could have done more to go deeper into the town and area and it's inhabitants to bring more substance to the story. I did jump at times which was nice. I understand the movie being similar to the first I believe as a way to show that the masked intruders have a specific agenda and aren't big on change..I dunno. I give it 3. It was pretty good .

As an obsessive fan of the original I made it a mission to see this movie in the theater. And I freaking loved it! The movie paid good homage to the original but it was just enough as to not ride the coattails of the original. Lots and lots of flying scenes and a storyline that was extremely entertaining and compelling. Great movie, strongly recommended.

I loved it and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Great homage paid to the original cast and the original movie. Just simply fun to watch. And a hell of a way to bring Billy Loomis back into it. Well done.

Pretty disappointed. I'm I'm big fan of the movies but I felt like Halloween Kills plot was a little convoluted and cheesy at times. I enjoyed the flashbacks to 1978 though. And let's be honest, the trademark score which is ever present in all the movies was virtually nowhere to be found in "Kills".
