Unfortunately, in contradiction to the first movie which will forever stay in my heart, this one's got nothing to do with it; it's just a 2 hour blend of a huge promotion of companies, other Disney movies, plus all the silliness that the social media has been full of in the last years, wrapped around just the two main characters of the first movie converting all others to guest stars and also trashing the original story at the end of this one! Top all that with an overall bad plot, elements of existential crisis, and a bit more aggressive than maybe should female empowerment messages (which as a value is great, but personally I prefer having a good balance of "hints" rather than anything being over the top in a movie)...too much real life in a cartoon/animation! That said, some of the people I watched this with actually enjoyed it, myself, I felt like I was just browsing Facebook for 2 hours while slowly watching the original movie rot on the side. Very sad and disappointing deep dive into the cliff from the top that the first movie was...
