I have only just watched this movie for the first time. What a gut wretching, heartbreaking story. The acting is so raw and genuine. I don’t think I’ve ever watched such a sad movie before. Highly recommend

Doesn’t do the book justice. Poor character development and substandard deviations from the original book storyline. I’m 15 mins in on the first episode and want to turn it off
