Disney's Mulan is not a sing-a-long happy usual Disney movie. Mulan stands aside, "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon." It is not for Disney's typical 7-10 y.o audience. It holds your attention to the end. I saw the animated Mulan when I was a preteen, and I would not compare the two because they are two different movies. The animated film introduced Disney's first Asian princess. However, this movie introduces Disney's first Warrior.
