Spoilers.
This is like 2 films have been stuck together and then they tried to figure out a story somewhere in the middle.
Opening sequence to the song is great. There's some implausible stuff in there (small child dragging a dead grown man out of a house) but it's good and sets things up. But it's still trying to stitch things together. For some reason Vesper is buried in a huge crypt in Matera, Italy? Only reason must be because it looks pretty.
Then Bond ditched Madeleine on the premise she tried to kill him. And the scene is set. All the good stuff you see in the trailer? First 20 minutes.
After that it's a disjointed zero storyline movie about how the villian is truing to kill people with nanobots (cue people with boils on their face gargling).
You meet Blofeld again after the entirety of Spectre gets wiped out by said nanobots. Yes, everyone of them. But why, who knows?
And it carries on like this all the way through. Action sequences for no particular reason coupled with a very weak story.
Bond is now a pathetic dribbling shell of what you expect him to be. This could have been any movie about anybody in all honesty.
Bond is weak, the villain is weak and after the first sequence the movie is weak.
Wait for it to be on streaming services.
