Roberta Parry's Killing Time captivated me. Multi-layered, stories within the basic story, rich with descriptions of Arizona and the Hopi way of life, skillful use of flashbacks. The novel's protagonist, Regina Patterson Kendall ("Reggie"), is a character that will stay with me for a long time. Great dialogue and descriptions. Highly recommended!
