Absolutely amazing in terms of acting, filming, script, story-telling, historical contextualising, and getting across the essence of the Gospels. The power of Christ as both man and God is made perfectly intelligible here. Superb. (And as a Christian, I have to say I unexpectedly feel something powerful every time I watch an episode! I really sense the Holy Spirit in this project).
