About 2 hours I'll never get back! The sound editing was atrocious - having to turn it up and down depending on the scene was distracting. I couldn't understand about a quarter of what was being said as the British have a tendency to speed-talk (my personal listening problem, I'm sure, as I'm a slower talking American woman). And what was Lena's malady? I either didn't hear when she talked about it or I was supposed to guess.
I've never been a mother and have not been repressed by society (both my choices), so maybe I would have had to have been both to "get" this film.
All in all, I suppose the movie was too deep for me to understand...
