I am a Jeffery Archer fan..love his books. But frankly I was disappointed with this one. It's repetitive and very predictable. There is only so much u can do with the same characters same basic plot.

The story drags. I struggled to finish even half of the book.. Strike is a very lovable character but the author puts too much emphasis on his amputed leg and the pain he is suffering..we get it, he is going through a lot, but do we have to be reminded of his pain every page we turn?

Surprised to see so many negative reviews...John Grisham is a personal favourite and thankfully i didn't see the negatives the others did.

This book is so much more than a story... it's an adventure, a vivid journey into the lives of these brave women trying to make a difference. A great read, haven't read something as good in a long time...thank you Jojo..

It lacks bite.. expectations are high when you read Christie..while it is a good plot, i felt myself struggling as it didn't grip my attention...

The story couldn't hold my interest, i struggled, losing focus every few sentences..after a chapter or two, I gave up.. reviews are always helpful and when I pick up a book that fails to hold my interest i check the reviews for guidance. Saves time. That said, I did find the writing style inspiring in the initial pages..

Disappointing read..the narrative seems disjointed and contrived as if she is trying too hard... she has set a high benchmark with her earlier writing and this book falls short...to be fair I left it after the first few chapters...so not in a position to judge.
