I was so into this film right up until the last half hour. Don't want to be a spoiler for those reading this who intend to see it,so I'll just say I felt that the last half hour was comical. It's like Ridley fed information into AI to create what transpires. Note I grew up with Alien and loved the first and second films. I really,really wanted to like this one.Loved it right up until the end.

I loved this film from the first scene! Drawn in entirely. Beautifully filmed. I found it a joy to watch. As to the characters and the acting? Mind blowing. The script? Again. A joy to behold. My only issue is with the length of the film. I had to go to the toilet in the last half hour. This need for ablutions was distracting and took away from my focus on the end of the film. Just saying. A message to directors and those entities who present such wonderful films. Our bladders can only hold out for so long. Please. If we are going to create films that are longer than an hour and a half could we bring back intervals? A serious thought and suggestion. K

This is an incredible film. It's important because it reminds us of the horror of WWII and the suffering of those who participated. During and afterwards. Many, for the rest of their lives. A brilliant film in my opinion and the performances of the actors? Just outstanding

Honestly? I've always been fascinated by Manson so watching this was a no brainer for me. Coupled with David and seriously credible people working on this? Must see. And I did. I dedicated hours to watching this piece. And that is an important point to anyone making this stuff. Ultimately? You lost me with the clichéd black and white bits... Loved the use of red for the first 5 minutes. Sadly the before and after didn't work. The story dragged out for way too long too. And the conclusion was well, not so much. We all know how the story plays out in the real world, sadly, but for me? Not so much. I feel like I'd invested hours in this program and the ending was twee

I've been angry with Kenneth for longer than I chose to remember. Wallander in particular pissed me off. He picks popular stuff from where ever and claims it as his own. Don't get me wrong, his choices are excellent and he makes an acceptable Poirot and those films are entertaining in a light way. How can you go wrong with A Christie? He's clever at choosing his work. No argument. Belfast is something else again in my opinion. Loved it. My interpretation? Belfast and what was happening through a young boy's eyes. Kenneth's I'm speculating. This is a film that needs to be seen on the big screen in my opinion because it's visually beautiful and something that must be viscerally experienced. It's extraordinary. Seriously don't miss it 🎉

I loved this film. Many of my friends didn't because they found the ending inconclusive. My thoughts are if it had ended any other way it would have been a cliché and twee. My advice? If you've read or seen 'Waiting for Godot' and didn't like the play and/or the ending, save yourself the trouble and don't see it. If, on the other hand, you got Beckett? This masterpiece is for you and not to be missed 😉 K

I've watched this piece in April 2023 from Australia, so I'm viewing it as something that happened in the past and watching the USA from a distance. I found the diagnoses of doctors various informative but not surprising. The validity of what the specialists day is evidenced in the Don's acts. Historical perspectives were fascinating and reflect my thoughts on how this individual has affected the USA it's political base within it's own country and globally. A fascinating watch.
