This was such an amazing movie! Love Emilia Clark and Henry Golding, and together they create a true vulnerability as their story unfolds. And that is the magic. As we gradually learn more about the characters, it heightens what is ultimately revealed in, as sweetly touching of an ending as I've ever seen. Will you cry? Yes. Will you laugh? OMG yes, especially when Dame Emma Thompson regales everyone with her vocals! In short, this is a must see movie, one that will touch your heart as it did mine.

While this interpretation is a valiant effort to weave the characters of Henry James' gothic masterpiece together, it doesn't succeed. Yes, this is a psychological drama but the movie begins with the new nanny, Kate, visiting her mother in a psychiatric institution before embarking on her own missive to care for unstable minors. Okay, we get it. But this movie seems to want to beat the viewer over the head with directive cues so that we come to the same opinion as the director, which I personally don't believe James was going for. Rather, the original tale, upon which this version is based, is shadowed by unknowing, no matter how your senses may sway, which is frightening enough! This rendition drags poor raggedy Kate through the mud again and again so by the end ...well, I was glad it was the end.

Couldn't wait to be immersed once again in the graciousness of Downton Abbey and, all I can say is that it was so worth the wait! The settings, costumes and locations were stunningly gorgeous on the big screen, everything was perfection! Most of all, Downton's beloved characters brought back to life the spirit of loyalty, sincerity, and pride of place and family. This film is not to be missed, and I hope there will be more to come!

I really enjoyed this production, particularly the seamless performances of humans portraying cats with their unique, instinctive traits of humanity. The result, for me, was a resounding triumph of entertainment complete with laughter and tears!

Having grown up as a fan of Elton John, I was loving the musical themed performances of his music that punctuated his life's story throughout the movie. However, I didn't expect to be touched quite so deeply by the sincere emotion that really took this film to its much deserved pinnacle. Loved it and love Elton!

What a gem this movie is! Can't recommend it enough! The young actors brought such innocence to the story along with clever use of modern culture through music and dance. Unforgettable!

The overall effect was a fanciful feast for the senses, including stunning cinematography from soaring over the kingdom of the Moors to the sweetest little nature creatures in their habitat made for a most enjoyable visual experience! The Queen of the Moors, Aurora, was beautiful and vulnerable in her innocence as she embarked on a romantic chapter in her life upon accepting a proposal of marriage. Indeed, that chapter proves to be a harsh lesson in reality for Aurora, because this is where the tangle of relationships are magnified to reveal truths unknown. Perhaps, the most endearing character of all is Maleficent who turns out to be equally as vulnerable as Aurora. Angelina Jolie portrays this magical creature, a fey, with exquisite beauty and elegance, she is enchantment itself! The compelling message that, the bond of love between mother and child endures, and no more so for Maleficent and her "beastie".

Enjoyed it very much! It was an imaginative take on the traditional story which intertwined the music nicely. Beautiful costuming and scenery make this a grand production for the holidays!

While Frozen defined Elsa and Anna as devoted sisters who overcome the curse of separation and destruction, Frozen 2 allows the sisters to step fully into their own strength and magic, and ultimately into their own realms. The scenery was spectacular, as Disney is renowned for, and there were fun scenes interspersed with darker, more dramatic scenes. I loved the autumn theme which seemed to be a reflection of Anna's beauty while Elsa reigned over the winter with her icy blue loveliness. I also liked the reverence for nature throughout the story, a perfect movie!
