I also thought the movie started out a little slow as well. But it got more intriguing as we learn a little about the main 2 character. What disappointed me is why didn’t the woman run out the building when she had a chance after he tried to drown her. And then she comes back in the apartment and starts to insult him. She should have known when she kept telling him “it’s not real” and how he reacted the first time by drowning her. And then she does again with even more intensity. Why? Also I don’t get the ending. When did Sutherland paint a picture of her? The ending showed her apartment or what I thought was her apartment with the painting on the fridge. Hoping someone can explain the ending to me. I think I get the flies but I would like clarification on it as well.
