Brilliant ,read this book in late 2019 and followed up by visiting a small exhibition about the life and work of M Courtenay-Latimer in the Iziko Cape Town Science Museum. Her sense of commitment and capacity to source and collate material for the museum in those early days was both impressive and stimulating.

I have read All the light we cannot see , greatly enjoyed. About Grace is beautifully written however feels very long and thus somewhat tedious to me- long dreams and long implications and not much else.

It is an exciting film and I was spurred on to see it as some filming took place in Hermanus in the Western Cape where I live. I used Wikipedia as the film may be difficult to follow if the history of Napoleon is not known. I think the main actors are impressive and the film is atmospheric.
