I'm very strict when it comes to choose video games to play, to the point where I've chosen only 2 or 3 games worth spending 60$ annually specially for the past 3 years. I bought Days Gone some days ago when it was on summer sales in August and guess what? I wish I could buy it in full price! The night I intended to buy this game, I was struggling with myself since I'd read the negative reviews particularly, from IGN, which I'd trusted them, in the direction of not buying this game. But I decided to take risk and give it a chance. As soon as I experienced the game I enjoyed it a lot. The two determining drawbacks that are considered in most of the reviews are the everlasting bugs and repetitive missions. But I've seen none of above so far! Even the so called "Boring Side Missions" are not as boring as assassin's creed franchise missions. I can promise that!
so, the final conclusion of mine is, buy this game! Just keep your expectations lower that other SONY exclusives in terms of obsessive comparing with God of War, The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn or even RDR2. Enjoy your time in a post-apocalyptic Oregon and an astonishing open-world third person shooter.
