Watch it. Just watch it. The first season starts out as another procedural case-of-the-week, but halfway through you can see it gathering speed, adding depth, widenening scope. Over the course of five seasons it becomes a show about people, about relationships and what we owe ourselves and each other, about technology and the future and the possibility of redemption... It becomes extraordinary. Not flawless, no, but still: extraordinary. Just watch it. Watch it.
