While the pilot episode had me cringing at the the amount of extremely mature content and dark drama displayed among a what is supposed to be depiction of teenagers, Euphoria has left me waiting for the next episode everytime. Each character has a struggle or a dark side and the visual unfolding of each person's story is shot so beautifully. Zendaya is one hell of an actress! In my opinion this show is similar to Riverdale in that there is a darkness lingering over each and every character and it is set among a group of angsty teens but switch out the gargoyle king and the black hood murderer for opiate abuse and more real life situations. I also want to praise this show for being extremely LGBTQ+ Friendly as many of these characters storylines dive into them discovering and living true to their sexualities. Good job HBO.
