The premise is a good one - mystery, intrigue, investigations, adoptive and birth family connections. I'm giving it 3 stars because the drama was dragged out far too long, the dialogue was repetitive, and the main investigator Blasio was looking for answers that weren't there, were impossible to find, or that were long dead and buried. She asked leading questions, barged into places that were not actually relevant to the case, and accused people of things with zero proof. However, the initial idea of searching for birth family connections is fascinating and I hope that everyone involved can find some sort of peace, regardless of the answers they receive.

I liked the premise of the movie. It gets 2 stars for artistry and suspense. However, the plot was slow-moving and could have been condensed to 30 minutes. It was too long and drawn-out. It was definitely twisted- it went from horror to championing women's rights, fertility, and mental health issues. IMO this movie is not worth watching. I'm still not sure why it was given the title "false positive".
