Flawless film in every way! This movie instantly made its way up to my top 10 favorite movies of all time!! From beginning to end I was mesmerized and almost didn't want to blink or look away and in fact at times I forgot it was just a movie and parts of it felt so real and relevant to, so much going on and, all that we see around us. I believe Joaquin Phoenix was always meant for this role considering his personal life and all that he has went through. He nailed this performance in every way and now has even shared in interviews that he loves his character and can do it forever! No one can ever take away what Heath Ledger did with his iconic version of the Joker but this time the character is even more relatable and prone to understanding by the masses. In my personal opinion Phoenix is now the reigning JOKER king! The laugh alone is contagious and interesting, let alone the weight loss and look, it made me look up the condition and how people actually struggle from it. I cant get enough of this movie; I've already seen it 3 times and cant wait for it to come out on bluray now. "AND THE OSCAR GOES TO ------- JOAQUIN PHOENIX!!!"........ Is what I expect to hear soon!
