Based on the Bible.. it is class from start to finish.Made me want to read the real story.. Sets and costumes were stunning.

Total diversion from real life .. it’s really funny and the cast are patently enjoying it .. I couldn’t help but join in. In the end, why analyse? for me it totally works.. I love it.

This film is so thoughtfully scripted,it has so many characters to bring to life, and it does, ordinary men, led by a more charismatic Jesus than I have seen before ...A great take on the most wonderful story. Worth watching!!

Loved its new slant, full of action, a real adventure movie, with humour .. don’t sweat the tales we are all familiar with, they are all legend anyway.I like this reluctant Arthur.. give it a go!

It is my all time , no question, favourite.I have seen it 4 times, and it is so engrossing, it seems new each time. Acting, screenplay, locations, and the sweeping soundtrack, plus the costumes, place me right back in the 18th century, rooting for the totally believable characters. It is simply a magnificent entertaining film.

Watch this .. it engages and takes you on a harrowing journey, it’s beautifully crafted..it’s one of the best war films I have seen.
